Dear Friend and Potential Vendor:

The Southern Region of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated is pleased to extend to your company/organization an invitation to participate as a vendor at our 87th Anniversary Regional Convention. The conference will be held April 4th – 8th, 2018 in Memphis, Tennessee at the Memphis Cook Convention Center. 

The Sheraton Memphis Downtown (250 N. Main Street, Memphis TN) and The Crowne Plaza Downtown (300 N. 2nd Street, Memphis, TN) are the host convention hotels. The Convention Room Rate is $139/Night + tax and parking. The number to dial for reservations at the Sheraton is 901-527-7300 and for the Crowne Plaza is 901-525-1800 (ask for the Alpha Phi Alpha Group Room Block). Due to the significance of the 50th Anniversary of the assassination of our brother Martin Luther King, Jr. in Memphis, TN that same week, you are encouraged to book your rooms promptly.

The cost for vendor space at the convention is $400. The $400 vendor fee, or applicable fee, (depending on additional services requested), will include two (2) six foot tables, (unless additional table(s) were requested when you submitted your request form), and a boxed lunch which will be delivered on Friday and Saturday at noon. Each additional boxed lunch requested is $25. Each vendor will receive a voucher that will be used to pick up the box lunch(s) on each day. For those vendors needing a telephone line or power, the cost for a phone line is $150/per day and the cost for power and an extension cord is $110/day. For those vendors needing additional tables, the cost is $25/per table. Vendors will not be allowed to bring in additional tables. In order to ensure maximum visibility, vendors will be located on the Grand Lobby area, (right outside of the main convention hall). Due to the open location, security will be provided for the area overnight; however, vendors are encouraged to bring tarps/covers for additional security. Please note that Alpha Phi Alpha nor the hotel will provide these items.

All registration and payments must be processed electronically via this website.

This information needs to be received no later than March 1, 2018 for proper processing and placement. Vendor space, if available, requested after the deadline will be $500 (plus any additional applicable fees).

As you prepare to participate in an outstanding convention, please note that space is limited and booth space will be sold, and placement will be determined, on a first come – first served basis, so register early!
